Halloween recipes are the best! What to do with all that leftover Halloween candy

Halloween is one of those holidays that has its own brand Special fun, not least, a trick or treat. "My son turn 3 years, one month before the party, and he is at the point where you actually Trick or treat what is and is very excited about it, even if do not eat sweets much. I think part of the fun for him is to dress up and parade around the neighborhood - Tigger is going to be this year - and visiting with everyone. He is a very little social. I remember last year, we end up with tons of candy, and probably has to eat one or two things (which gives a hard candy 2-years of age or Tootsie Rolls?). Halloween Candy Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
• 3 / 4 cup flour
• 6 eggs
• 2 egg yolks
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 / 2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 / 2 cup butter
• 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 / 2 cup whipping cream
• 5 1.8-ounce packages of Reese's peanut butter, finely chopped
• 1-1/2 cups chilled whipping cream
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 / 2 cup unsalted roasted peanuts, chopped
• 3 2.1-ounce Butterfinger bars, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
• 1 / 2 cup Reese's Pieces

Instructions

Cake

1. Preheat oven to 375f degrees.
2. Butter and flour two 9-inch round cake molds.
3. Grind the nuts and 3 / 4 cups flour in processor until well.
4. Using a blender, beat eggs, yolks, sugar and vanilla in large bowl until the mixture whitens and triples in volume.
5. Fold in nut mixture.
6. Divide batter into prepared pans and smooth tops.
7. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 20 minutes.
8. Cool cakes in pans on a rack.

Fill and coverage

1. Mix peanut butter, butter and sugar in processor until smooth.
2. With machine running, add cream through feed tube and blend until mixture is smooth and fluffy.
3. Invert cake on work surface.
4. Using knife, saw, cut each cake into two layers.
5. Place one cake layer on a plate, cut side up.
6. Put a layer of 1 / 3 of filling and sprinkle with 1 / 3 of the chopped peanut butter cups.
7. Top with second cake layer in place, cut side down.
8. Continue with the other layers of filling, peanut butter cups and cake, ending with cake, cut side down.
9. For coverage, beat cream, sugar and vanilla in large bowl until almost stiff. Transfer 1 / 2 cup in a small bowl and reserve for garnish.
10. Spread remaining whipped cream over top and sides of cake.
11. Press nuts around the base of the cake that forms a border of 1.5-inch high.
12. Cover the top of the cake with Butterfingers leaving 1/2-inch border.
13. Spoon reserved whipped cream into pastry bag fitted with medium star tip, pipe stars around the top.
14. Garnish with Reese's Pieces.
